Erik Svedang is the creator of my favorite competitive iPad game Shot, Shot, Shoot. Now he’s also responsible for my favorite competitive computer game: Clairvoyance. Basically 4-piece, 5-moves-per-turn networked chess with height differences, grenades and lasers, Clairvoyance uses its limited ruleset to establish a game in which thinking ahead is required, but not thinking ahead further than your opponent could be disastrous.
